One of the aims of the Universitat Politècnica de València is to step up international cooperation through exchange visits by members of the university community and collaboration agreements in the fields of teaching, research, technological development and innovation.

Support to international exchange grants

Dissemination, advice and management of exchange programmes aimed at postgraduate students (MAE-AECI, Alban, Tordesillas, Bancaja, Carolina, Agreements...)


Internships in European enterprises

The Leonardo programme offers students and those who have recently graduated the chance to undertake placements in companies in other European countries.


The Mentor programme

Earn credits for helping foreign students studying at the UPV, practising languages and meeting people.


Classes delivered in English

At the UPV you can study some of the subjects in your degree in English, which will help you become more fluent in the language.


Lifelong training

The Vice-rectorate for Cooperation and Development Projects (VCPD) has signed a number of agreements with different universities, institutions and enterprises in order to be able to offer lifelong training courses that satisfy the demands of various professional groups.


Postgraduate studies

UPV offers, by virtue of partnership agreements with foreign universities, postgraduate programmes including third cycle studies (doctorate) as well as UPV degrees (master's, university and professional expert degrees).
Postgraduate studies managed by the Delegate Management for International Actions.
Postgraduate studies in Colombia and Cuba, managed by the Vice-rectorate for Co-operation and Development Projects.

Technical assistance

Within the framework of international cooperation and development, institutions and enterprises can receive technical assistance through the VCPD.


Services for teaching staff and researchers  

Teachers and researchers

Short-stay Socrates-Erasmus schemes offer you the opportunity to give lectures in European universities for one or two weeks.
Advice is provided on the management of projects developed in partnership with other countries (PCI, TEMPUS, E-LEARNING, ERASMUS MUNDUS, INTERREG III...).

Promoting research and training in development and cooperation

The Cooperation and Development Centre fosters research and training in development and cooperation.


Teacher training

The aim of the lifelong and post-graduate training programmes implemented in Colombia and Cuba is to train teaching staff from universities and institutions.


Exchanges among teaching, research and technical staff

The development projects arranged in collaboration with educational institutions in other countries enable exchange visits to be carried out between members of staff. Such experiences make it possible for them to share knowledge and to carry out joint projects in different lines of research.

Participation in international academic forums (Columbus, ASIBEI, AUIP, Tordesillas...).
