La huella del plástico

Do you have 15 minutes? It's all you need to learn about the plastic footprint directly from our UPV researchers

[ 18/11/2022 ]

The problem has gotten out of hand, and microplastics have found their way onto our plates and even into the air we breathe. La huella del plástico is a report in which, with the help of researchers from the Universitat Politècnica de València, the effects of this material are discussed.

Due to its lightness, plastic began to be used to reduce the price of transporting products and is now indispensable and irreplaceable in the healthcare field. Today, how can we stop the damage to the environment? What are the possible alternatives to the use of plastic? We review legislation, analyse new services and rely on the innovation laboratory that the UPV will become to paint the future in a different colour.
