INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACTS

Abstracts must be formatted as required by Phytopathologia Mediterranea (see sample heading below). Title, Author(s), Address(es) of authors, and E-mail of corresponding author must be indicated as in the example below. Please underline the name of the presenting author.

The abstract itself should not exceed 250 words. It should not include subheadings, Tables, Figures or references and preferably should be written as one paragraph. Spelling and grammar should conform to standard British-English usage. Authors are requested to have the abstracts properly revised if necessary. Indicate your preferred form of presentation (oral/poster). Abstracts must be sent to the Secretarial Office and only electronic submissions will be accepted.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The maximum size of all posters to be presented must not be larger than at DIN A0 format in portait, not landscape mode. That means that the posters must not exceed the max size of 841 mm width x 1189 mm height. Any other size smaller than 841 mm x 1189 mm is of course possible.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Oral presentations will be restricted to 10 minutes and 5 minutes discussion per speaker will be allowed. Presentations should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint. Delegates should save MS-PowerPoint files to compact flash-drives and/or writable or rewritable compact disks (CD).
