Regulated professions are those that can be exercised only if you fulfil a special condition, which is generally holding a certain academic degree (or having passed an aptitude test or completed an internship). They are currently stipulated by Royal Decree 1837/2008 and the list includes a range of different jobs. Each profession requires a specific kind of degree: be it in terms of training cycles or university studies.
In the latter case, the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) states that professional qualifications can be obtained with an undergraduate degree (technical engineers and technical architects) or with a university master's degree (engineers and architects). Therefore, the UPV teaches undergraduate degrees that qualify you to exercise the regulated professions of technical engineer and technical architect.
