Announcement

On behalf of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, we would like to invite you to participate in the First International Workshop on Environmental Hydraulics to be held in Valencia (Spain) on the 29th and 30th October 2009, sponsored by IAHR.

The general objective of our workshop is to provide an International Forum for researchers, engineers, professors, educational scientists and technologists in the areas of Environmental Hydraulics: theoretical, experimental and computational aspects. It will be an excellent opportunity to present, demonstrate and discuss research, development, applications, and the latest innovations and results in this important field.

We would like to strongly encourage you to submit your abstracts and participate in order to share your achievements in the fields of environmental hydraulic modelling and international collaboration. The deadline for submitting abstracts is May 8th, 2009.

In addition to the technical aspects of the programme, our website provides you with tourist information about our beautiful city of Valencia and its surroundings.
