Through the Cultural Activities Area, the UPV presents the 9th Wall Painting Competition whose winners will take part in Poliniza 2015, the 10th edition of UPV urban art festival which this year will be held from the 11th to 15th of May 2015
Wall painting is considered to be any painting on an architectural support which interacts with its urban environment, and all artists over 18 interested in taking part may do so, either individually or in crews. Poliniza 2015 embraces a wide variety of proposals ranging from highly academic styles through to hip hop graffiti and urban art.
The period for registering and presenting applications will be open until 23rd March. To take part, complete the registration form which can be downloaded from this page www.poliniza.es) and present it at the General Registry on any of the three UPV campuses together with a compilation CD/DVD of images of the main wall paintings done by the applicants.
In addition to taking part in a festival which is an international reference point for the urban art world and is enjoyed every year by more than 20,000 people, the winners will receive a prize of 600€ for each completed intervention.
