Gastronomy


The most typical dish in Sagunt is of course the paella, sometimes sharing the honours with other Valencian rice dishes such as arros negre (rice with squid) or arros a banda (rice in a fish broth). In addition to these, you can discover other typical dishes made with fresh products from the huerta such as olla de fesols i naps (a turnip and chard stew), potage de cigrons (chick pea stew) and olla de carn (meat stew).
