Computers or laptops of PAS and PDI of the UPV, can connect to the network by connecting pins available in offices, classrooms and meeting rooms of all University buildings. For this, computers need a network card and a network cable category 5 or higher.
For proper operation, these computers must be inventoried by the computer operators.
The users need an account that consists of a username, password and UPVNET domain. If you are university staff and do not already have an account, contact with the 'Area de Información'.
Connect your computer to the power plug from the wall of your office by a network cable. Consider that not all the wall plugs are enabled, in which case they don't connect.
Make sure you have set up your network card and the properties of it, have installed the TCP / IP settings to 'Auto IP'.
Boot the computer
Enter the username, password and domain for your account.
If you need assistance use the operators or technicians of its establishment or department.
Students have their own computer rooms in their centers for access to network services and Internet.
The computers rooms are managed by the technician's computer center, which manages the use of computing resources and who will resolve any doubts about their use.
Each student has a user account into the ALUMNO domain, which is to log in to the computers in the classroom.
