|Why publish my TFG in open access?|
ETSID RIUNET ACADEMIC PROJECTS
If you need to consult academic papers, the School of Design Engineering Library will give you access to the School’s collection of final theses and bachelor’s/master’s theses in electronic format through Riunet, the institutional repository of the UPV.
WHY PUBLISH MY TFG IN OPEN ACCESS?
By depositing your TFG in Riunet you comply with the UPV's obligation, but you also help other colleagues when doing their TFG/TFM.
Publishing openly does not mean giving up your rights as an author
When you deposit your TFG/TFM in Riunet, you have to decide the type of access and the permited uses of your work.
If you choose Closed Access, only the bibliographic data of the work (title, author, abstract, etc.) will be visible, but the work cannot be viewed.
If you choose Open Access, both the bibliographic data and the work will be searchable. This does not mean that anyone can copy your work, since you decide what use third parties can give your work when selecting the license, from only consultation (all rights reserved) to the creation of derivate works and even commercial use (creative commons atribution license). Any use different from those authorized by the license is illegal.
