All materials are freely accessible except for that stored in the library office for reasons of protection or age (CD-ROM, DVD, maps, etc.)
It is not necessary to belong to the university community of the UPV to use the library's collection.
PoliBuscador can be accessed from both Library computers and the internet, this engine allows the search of resources available not only in our Library, but in any of the UPV libraries.
In order to access the loan service, it is essential to belong to the university community and show your UPV card or ID.
The document loan conditions vary according to the type of user and item (see table)
The journals of the newspaper archive of the Agricultural Engineering Library can also be lent. The loan service is for 7 renewable days and they may be booked if they are on loan.
Final Degree Projects are excluded from the loan services, are for in-room consultation and cannot be photocopied.
There are special loan periods during holidays that we always advertise on the website.

Laptop loans:
Exclusive service for students enrolled in the UPV and it can be requested at the Central Library and in the libraries of the Gandia and Alcoi campuses.

RENEWAL OF LOANS
Documents may be renewed as long as they have not been reserved and the user has not been sanctioned and does not have any overdue documents.
Renewal can be done in any of the following ways:
RESERVATIONS
It is used to reserve items that have been lent or of which there are only copies in other campuses (Gandía or Alcoi).
The library staff will answer any question or information request either in person, by phone or online (via email, chat, or the Library Responds form).
In addition, the library offers the Appointment service, in which a librarian will help solving more extensive or specialised information needs.

All members of the University community can request the purchase of books that do not exist in the library, different editions of works that the library already has or the purchase of existing copies if they consider that there are not enough copies.

Intended for group work, available for groups of at least 2 people. The booths can be requested at the loan desk.
The booth can be left unoccupied for a maximum time of 30 minutes in a row or for 1 hour from 13:00 to 16:00.
The Library makes available to the user several computers with internet access for the browsing digital information sources, databases, electronic journals, etc. These computers allow to check e-mails and the use of office applications to University users.
