General information

The library of the School of Agricultural Engineering and Environment is part of the UPV’s network of libraries, and its purpose is to provide access to scientific and cultural information, by preserving, broadening and disseminating the University’s bibliographic, documentary and audio-visual resources.

USERS

The library serves the whole UPV community and specific terms of use apply, depending on the group to which you belong.

To use certain services (loans, use of booths, etc.), you must provide proof of identification with your UPV card or ID card.

Additionally, since we are aware of its importance to society, whenever possible the library will make its services available to the public.

Monday to Fryday, from 8 A.M. to 8.45 P.M.

EQUIPMENT AND AREAS

The library has a floor area of 600 m2, distributed as follows:

  • 215 reading and study spaces;
  • 4 adapted reading spaces;

  • 2 computers with internet access, on which you can perform searches on PoliBuscador;

  • 12 group study rooms, with first refusal given to students from the School of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering. They are located on the 2nd floor.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

  • Please, set your mobile phones on silent or vibrate mode;
  • Drinking (with the exception of water) and eating are not allowed in the Library;
  • No smoking;
  • Maintain a good study environment to diminish distractions;
  • Respect others studying nearby. If you have to talk or ask something, do it quietly;
  • Return books on their due date;
  • Treat library materials like they were your own.
