The UPV is among the 250 universities with the highest employability in the world, and in Europe's top 10 regarding agreements with companies

[ 25/10/2021 ]

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is, for yet another year, one of the 250 universities with the highest employability in the world, according to the QS Graduate Employability Rankings (GER).

The ranking, headed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), places the UPV in the 201-250 range worldwide, also highlighting it as the best university in the Valencian Community.

The UPV is also 38th in the world regarding agreements with companies

Additionally, the QS GER 2022 recognises the UPV as an international benchmark as regards collaboration agreements with companies.

In this field, in fact, the UPV ranks 3rd in Spain, 9th in Europe and 38th in the world, with a score of 93.6 points out of 100.

How is the ranking made?

This ranking, prepared by the prestigious consultancy firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), takes into account five indicators: the reputation of a university’s graduates among employers (30%); its graduates’ success in their professional career (25%); the collaboration agreements existing between the university and companies (25%); its graduates’ employment rate (10%); and the number of employers present on its campus that offer internships and a first job to students (10%).
