Bachelor's Double Degree in Business Administration and Management + Tourism

This double degree enables students to simultaneously obtain two degrees, the Degree in Tourism (GT) and the Degree in Business Administration and Management (GADE) in just five years. The double degree is aimed at students with a medium-high performance.

Those students who start the double degree in Alcoi shall study the Degree in Business Administration and Management in three years, including the intensification of English and German courses, followed by a year and a half in Gandia to specialise in tourism management.

You can work in managerial positions or positions specialized in administration, accounting, finance, taxation, human resources, marketing, quality, occupational hazards, etc.

They will be specially qualified to take on positions in hotel and catering companies, travel agencies, tour operators, tourism promotion companies, fairs, transport organisations, tourism development companies, tourist sector associations, animation, organisation of conventions and events, rural tourism, tourism departments, research centres or R&D+i. You can also work as an auditor, consultant, advisor, trainer or teacher.

The double degree includes compulsory internships in over 600 companies related to the management and planning of tourism or to the management of companies of another sector.

Students can take the 2nd semester of the 5th year abroad to carry out the internship and complete the final year dissertation in one of the many countries with which the UPV holds exchange agreements.

The double degree grants access the university master's degrees taught by the UPV in Financial and Fiscal Management, and in Business Management, Products and Services, which has two specialities: Advanced Service Management, taught in Spain, and Product Technology, taught in Germany; you can also access the Master's Degree in Cultural Management and the Master's Degree in Business Management, taught in Alcoi. It also grants access to any university master's degree from the UPV by taking the appropriate levelling courses.
