The 21st edition of the Employment and Lifelong Learning Fair will be held on 17 and 18 May at the Campus of Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) between 10 am and 6 pm with the attendance of more than 175 companies, making this event the largest university employment fair held so far in Spain.
The twenty-first edition of the Job Fair has made it a national reference meeting point between companies and students and graduates looking for a job opportunity or internship in Spain or abroad. The Fair seeks not only to benefit those aspiring to enter the labour market but also aims to offer participating companies an interesting opportunity to make themselves known among the university community and gather as many CVs as possible from those interested in finding employment in order to select the best talent.
Lola Salvador, Vice-Rector for Employment and Lifelong Learning at the UPV, commented that "this job fair focused on networking and that this year celebrates its twenty-first edition is breaking records in terms of company participation at a national level, which confirms the positioning that the UPV has been working on for years, the commitment to youth employability, an objective of its strategic plan from 2023 to 2027, which bears better fruit when there is greater approach and collaboration between the academic and business worlds".
In the Shanghai 2022 ranking, internationally recognised as the most prestigious indicator of universities, UPV has been recognised as the best Technical University in Spain. And in studies carried out by the BBVA Foundation and the IVIE, UPV is ranked as the best university in Spain in terms of teaching, top 5 nationally in the overall ranking, and 7th in the total volume of results and research and innovation.
